Did you recently watch "A River Runs Through It" and can't quit thinking about big browns and beautiful backcasts? Have you thought about what size fishing vest you might wear? Ever wondered how to use that funny, long fishing rod you inherited from your grandfather (or mother, there are plenty of badass lady anglers)? Then you my friend may be Fly Curious! Join us to learn a little more about fly fishing, get some hands on casting practice, and learn about where and how to fly fish in our area. We'll start with an overview of fly fishing technique, terms, and gear. Learn how to setup a fly rod, practice casting, and maybe even put a few lines in the water! And don't worry, you don't need to know anything to participate. Remember, all fly anglers were Fly Curious at some point! This is a great event for families to attend together, but parents and kids (8-18) must participate together.

All gear and supplies are included. Dress for the outdoors. Polarized sunglasses highly recommended. Bring your own drinks, snacks, and lawn/camp chairs. If you have your own fly fiishing gear, feel free to bring it and we'll help you learn to set it up.
